Been there, filmed that.
I have spent over a year now filming weddings at least once a week, which means I know wedding days pretty inside out. Timelines running late? Dress bustle drama? Someone losing the rings five minutes before the ceremony? I’ve seen it all, and I’m probably already fixing the problem before anyone notices. Before this I was a wedding assistant at a boutique hotel so you could say i am slightly obsessed with weddings!
Being a mum of three has also made me very good at staying calm in chaos, spotting moments before they happen, and somehow managing to be everywhere at once — which turns out is extremely useful at weddings.
Where it all began
2019
A big year for me - seven weddings attended including my brothers, my best friends and a destination wedding in beautiful Santorini! safe to say, I was fully in my wedding era before I even knew it. That’s when I realised I wanted to turn my love for weddings into a career.
2020
The year the world stopped. Weddings and celebrations were put on pause, and so was my dream, as i stayed in the comfort of my ‘safe’ job. Sometimes plans take the long way around.
2023
I filmed little snippets on my iPhone throughout a friends wedding day and turned them into what we now call a reel! That was the moment the idea properly clicked for me. But with baby number three on the way, the plans had to wait just a little longer.
2024
I got a job at a local boutique hotel as a wedding assistant and absolutely loved being part of the wedding world. But deep down, I knew I wanted to be even more involved and do something that felt more like me.
2025
I finally took the leap and posted my first TikTok asking for a couple I could create wedding content for free. The video went viral with over 100k views and within two months I’d handed in my notice at the hotel. By the end of 2025 I had shot 42 weddings under One Lush Day.
And today, i’m capturing the moments couples never want to forget.
What it’s like having me around
My approach to my work is simple: I want your videos & photos to feel like your day actually felt.
Not stiff. Not overly posed. Not ten hours away from your guests having you frolicking through fields or taking photos you’ll never print.
I’m there for the real moments — nervous laughs before the ceremony, your mum fixing your veil, champagne sprayed everywhere, your friends absolutely losing it on the dance floor, and all the little in-between bits you didn’t even realise were happening.
I’ll give guidance when you need it, but I’m not about turning your wedding into a photoshoot. Most couples book me because they want someone who feels more like an extra bridesmaid with a camera than someone constantly directing the day.
Now for the honesty part—
If you want super traditional wedding photography with endless group photos and perfectly posed moments all day long… I’m probably not your girl. And that’s completely okay.
But if you want photos that feel relaxed, Nostalgic, emotional, a little bit chaotic in the best way, and genuinely you — I think we’ll get on very well.
